Finished Quilt Gallery #2

The quilts represented in these blog pages are only a fraction of the finished pieces we have available.

All of our quilts are made with high quality cotton fabrics.  They are completely machine washable.

If you are looking for something specific and you do not find it here, send an e-mail to the below address.

Over and Down Under - a Bonnie Sullivan design

Size: approx. 56" x 56"

Flannel top with brown Minky back, shown below along with the quilting design.

This quilt just oozes warmth and coziness.

If you are a floral fanatic, this quilt is for you!

The pattern is by Wendy Sheppard.  We call it Floral Card Display.

It measures 56" wide by 58" long.

The photo at right shows the top portion of the quilt top.  The next photo shows the rest of the quilt top along with the beautifully coordinating floral backside fabric.

This is Drop Diamonds.  It is a Cozy Quilt Designs pattern by Daniela Stout.

It measures 56" by 56" which is a great size for a lap quilt.

If you find the quilt top colorful, turn it over and check out the back!  How's that for color?  This quilt is reversable.

Not only is the back vibrant but the quilting shows beautifully.  The quilting pattern is Diamonds are Forever, a compliment to the quilt name.

The above quilt pattern is called Harvest Gallery.  It was designed by Sue Harvey and Sandy Boobar.  It measures 56" wide by 71" long, a great throw size.

The front of the quilt is comprised of wonderful cotton fabrics.  Each leaf is inset with an autumnal cabin scene.  The backing fabric is where the magic happens because it is a complimentary coordinated flannel fabric, (if you want warm, this will keep you warm!)

The photo below, is a close up of the center two rows of leaves.  Additionally, in keeping with the theme of this piece, a quilting design of "Curly Maple Leaves" was utilized to further enhance the quilt.

At right, is a quilt any wild child of the 70's would love.

The pattern is from Fabric Cafe, Go Bold, by Fran Morgan.  The quilt design is Modern Art.

The piece measures 43" wide by 60" long.

In the photo at left, some of the quilting can be seen.  In keeping with the psychedelic theme of the quilt, the quilting design consists of flowers and peace signs and is called "Groovy".

The multicolored stripe fabric at the top of the photo is the fabric used on the back of the quilt.

Floral Churndash

If you like flowers, this quilt is a must have!
This quilt measures 44" wide by 62" long and is lap quilt size.

The photo at right shows the backing material used in this quilt.  In many ways, this quilt is reversable.

This photo is a close-up of the churndash block.

It also shows the quilting pattern used to complete the quilt, note the floral design.  The quilting thread color is a light buttery yellow.

Lucille is from a design by Pat Fryer for Villa Rosa Designs.  It measures 53" wide by 66" long.

Bright colors on a white background give this quilt a clean, modern look.

This photo is a close up of a block.  It is intended for purposes of illustrating the quilting thread design used in this piece.  The pattern was selected because it contains both angular and circular designs.

This last photo depicts the backing material used in this quilt.  It is as brightly colored as the quilt top.  Additionally, this fabric was used to bind the perimeter of the quilt.

This brightly colored quilt is called Block Step.  The pattern designer is Robin Pickens.  It measures 55" square.  This is a good size for a lap quilt or a wall hanging if the space is available.

If you like contemporary and/or modern artwork, then this quilt is for you.  The utilization of a black background really makes the colorful, batik fabric blocks come alive.

This piece was custom quilted.  What this means is multiple quilting patterns were used along with different color threads.

This photo shows the three quilting patterns and the thread colors used.  These were selected to enhance the beauty of the quilt by adding another layer of visual interest.

As such, the custom quilting compliments the piecing design and the fabric colors.

The photo at left is a close-up of the quilt back and part of the quilt top or front.  Like the very colorful quilt blocks, the backing material is also a cotton batik, hand-printed fabric.
